We Have Plenty of Other Ministries!
Our church is involved in a plethora of different services and opportunities to be the blessing of God to others in ÅŒmokoroa. Get involved!
Acacia Park Services
We regularly head just up the road to Acacia Park to do fellowship and lead services for the people there. Through this we can bring church right to their doorstep, and offer Christian fellowship with them.

We have a Pastoral Care team dedicated to the health and well-being of both our church family and the wider community.
Our team regularly visits those who are unwell or housebound. They hand-deliver our quarterly publication “The Beacon” to all parishioners; and organise meals for those who are unwell or going through a difficult time.
Please contact Val Hale (Pastoral Care Coordinator) 07 548 0370 if you or someone you know has a need that we can assist with.
Transport Support
Our team of volunteers is available to provide transport for members of the community for the purpose of attending medical and hospital appointments in ÅŒmokoroa or Tauranga.
As our volunteers use their private cars, donations are welcome.

La Mai Coffee
Available at the church office for $9 per 200g bag.
This coffee is grown in Northern Thailand and purchase of this coffee allows Bright Hope World to help poor local farmers change from growing opium to growing coffee.
Project Uplift
The original Uplift Bra Project was initiated in 2004 in Australia by Liz Baker. Unfortunately the Australian chapter closed in 2020 but we are continuing on Liz's good work in New Zealand. Although in the past, Project Uplift has sent bras as far as the Philippines, Bali, Cambodia, Sri Lanka, Botswana, Uganda and Pakistan, from New Zealand we currently send mainly to the Pacific Islands, in particular Fiji, Tonga, Vanuatu, and Samoa.
We also distribute bras to women and girls in need in New Zealand, through health and community groups and high schools in disadvantaged areas. We try to ensure that bras get to the women who need them without compromising their dignity.

Pauline Watson began coordinating Project Uplift's bra recycling in New Zealand in 2012 and has appeared on TV1 Good Sorts, been interviewed countless times on radio, featured in magazines and newspapers, and has visited Fiji, Tonga and Vanuatu several times to deliver and fit bras to ladies in need.
